Information for the Accused during Criminal Trials

 

This information provides accused persons with general information. This is not full or complete information on criminal process. It does not cover every issue that might arise in your case.

 Does the Court provide free legal aid services?

The court does not provide free legal service, but if you can’t afford a legal representative you may ask the court to appoint you a public defender to assist you on your case.

Interpretation services

The court will provide interpretation services for those who do not understand the court’s working language. The court will cover the cost for the interpretation services.
